It explains IEEE’s plagiarism levels and recent policy updates, and outlines how Editors‑in‑Chief can identify, evaluate, and address cases. Topics include multiple submission, paraphrasing, and verbatim copying, with guidance for consistent adjudication across IEEE. Editors‑in‑Chief will also learn best practices for applying plagiarism policies, interpreting iThenticate results, and ensuring due process and confidentiality.
